Physical Therapy
ISEA employs one Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) and one certified physical therapy assistant (PTA). The PT assesses needs, establishes goals, and develops treatment programs. The goals are implemented by the PTA. Services may be delivered on a direct (pull-out) or on a collaborative/consultative basis to the educational team serving the child, depending on the student's needs.
To obtain an PT evaluation, please contact your child's teacher or building principal to start the referral process. After your child qualifies for physical therapy services, a prescription form must be filled out by your child's doctor before services can begin.
